What does a robotics integrator do?

A robotics integrator is the company that turns a robot into a productive workstation. The manufacturer builds the machine. The integrator measures the line, selects the model that fits the task, designs the work cell with its safety zones, connects it to ERP or WMS, trains the operators, writes the risk assessment required by Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 and takes on maintenance with an agreed response time. Without that role a humanoid stays a demonstration. Humanoid Robotics Greece does exactly this across the European Union, based in Thessaloniki, for nine platforms from six manufacturers: Unitree, UBTech, AgiBot, Booster Robotics, DEEP Robotics and Fourier. The first site visit and the initial assessment are free of charge.

Process analysis

We come to your site, measure cycle times, map the material flow and find where a machine actually saves time.

Feasibility study

You get a document with scenario, model, cost, payback and risks. If the numbers do not work, we say so before you buy.

Selection and quotation

We compare at least three platforms for the specific task and hand over a binding quotation with a schedule and acceptance criteria.

Installation & commissioning

Installation, integration with ERP/WMS, risk assessment, CE marking for the configuration, operator training.

Operation & support

SLA, spare parts, remote diagnostics, software updates and a quarterly performance review.

Compliance

The robot is the easy part. The liability is the hard part.

From 20 January 2027 the new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 applies. Whoever puts a robot into service takes on obligations: risk assessment, documentation, training, data security. We hand over that file together with the robot.

Funding

A large share of the investment can be subsidised

Across the EU, equipment, automation and digital transformation are eligible costs: structural funds, national industry programmes and the STEP actions for strategic technologies. In Greece that is currently the “Made in Greece” action and the Development Law. We prepare the technical annexes the application requires.

What people ask us first

In practice, no. In the plants we visit across Europe the problem is that people cannot be found for certain shifts and positions. The robot takes the repetitive, heavy work and the person moves to control and setup. That is also the argument you need for your works council.

The robot is one part. Add integration, peripherals, training and maintenance. That is why we always quote a three-year total cost of ownership, not just a hardware price.

We offer support contracts with a defined response time, remote diagnostics and stock of critical spare parts. For critical lines we recommend a standby unit or a replacement agreement.

For models in stock expect six to ten weeks delivery, for the rest ten to sixteen. Installation and commissioning typically add four weeks, one of which is site preparation before the equipment arrives.
